Our Stanford 10 testing is complete! Everyone did a great job doing their best work and staying focused. Well done, second grade!
We have a busy week ahead and we have a lot to learn! We began Junior Achievement last week and our first session was great! We are learning about the community around us. Our next session will be this Thursday afternoon.
We are almost done with our chapter on fractions. We will review the material covered in chapter 8 on Wednesday and Thursday and we will have our Chapter 8 Test on Friday. The material in this section can be tricky, but remember, you kids are smart! Math is about thinking, not guessing!
We are busy during Making Words; we are reviewing and learning new and exciting skills! Parents - be sure to ask your child about all the different kinds of contractions we learned!
*****New This Week*****
Kids - do you look at the new questions I put on my blog each week??? Do you know the answers??? I hope so! Please make sure you take a good look at them this week! If you are one of the first five people to respond correctly, you will get a special prize! To do this, please post a comment on this blog. Post your name and the answers to your questions. Good Luck!Have a great week!
